Terms of Service

Last updated: 11 July 2026

These Terms explain the rules for using the BuildersLab website (builderslab.cloud), booking calls with us, and engaging with us before a separate proposal, statement of work, or written agreement is signed. The website is operated by House of Hisham, a Tamil Nadu, India–based consultancy. Contact: hello@builderslab.co. By using this website or booking a call, you agree to these Terms.

What we do

BuildersLab is a consultancy-first business. We help clients understand where AI fits their business goals, where it does not, and what is worth doing first. Where appropriate, we help execute approved recommendations through our own team, subcontractors, or specialist ecosystem partners. The website describes our general approach — it does not create a client relationship, project scope, guarantee, or obligation to provide services until relevant terms are agreed in writing.

Website content

Content on this website — including the revenue calculator, which uses illustrative assumptions — is provided for general information only and is not legal, financial, accounting, technical, or professional advice tailored to your circumstances. We may update, remove, or change content at any time.

Booking calls

Booking a call does not guarantee that we will accept a project or deliver a specific outcome. We may reschedule, decline, or cancel calls where necessary. Please provide accurate booking information and do not submit confidential or sensitive data through the public booking flow.

Consultancy engagements

Paid work begins only when we agree a proposal, statement of work, invoice, or other written agreement, which defines scope, deliverables, fees, timelines, responsibilities, and any engagement-specific terms. If these website Terms conflict with a signed client agreement, the signed agreement controls for that engagement.

Subcontractors and ecosystem partners

We may use subcontractors or specialist partners to support delivery of approved work. Unless a client contracts directly with a partner, House of Hisham remains responsible for coordinating the agreed work within the scope of the applicable client agreement. No partner or tool is involved in a project unless included in the agreed scope or confirmed in writing.

Client responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, timely feedback, approvals, appropriate access, and stakeholder alignment; for the legality and accuracy of information they provide; and for reviewing recommendations, automations, AI-assisted materials, and deliverables before using them in their business.

AI-specific limitations

AI systems, automations, and AI-assisted workflows can produce incomplete, inaccurate, biased, or unexpected outputs. We do not guarantee that any AI recommendation, tool, or implementation will produce a specific revenue increase, cost saving, or business outcome unless expressly stated in a signed agreement. Human review, testing, and monitoring remain important for any AI-enabled process.

Fees and payments

This website does not process payments. Fees, taxes, payment schedules, refunds, and invoicing are handled proposal-by-proposal or through a separate written agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, fees are exclusive of applicable taxes and third-party costs.

Intellectual property

All website content, branding, and materials are owned by or licensed to House of Hisham and may not be copied, modified, or used commercially without permission. Ownership and licence rights for client deliverables are defined in the applicable written agreement. Nothing on this website transfers ownership of our pre-existing methods, frameworks, templates, or know-how.

Acceptable use

You must not use the website to break any law; submit false or harmful information; attempt unauthorised access to our systems; interfere with the website's security or operation; scrape or reuse content in a way that infringes our rights; or send spam, malware, or abusive communications.

Third-party services and links

The website includes third-party tools, including the HighLevel (LeadConnector) booking widget. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies; we are not responsible for services we do not control.

Disclaimers

The website is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or always available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated in these Terms or a signed client agreement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, House of Hisham will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or business-interruption losses arising from website use, booking interactions, or reliance on website content. For paid engagements, liability is handled under the applicable signed agreement; if none applies, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Unless a signed agreement states otherwise, disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Tamil Nadu, India.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the website after updated Terms are published means you accept them.
